Several times per year, the Research Team sponsors Research Seminars on various topics of interest to research faculty, PhD students, and the College. Presentations this year included a discussion about the new UNM Graduate Research Center and the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Cancer Registry for New Mexico Program. Dr. Chuck Wiggins discussing cancer surveillance in New Mexico
Chuck Wiggins, PhD, Director of the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results Cancer Registry for New Mexico and Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, presented a talk on "Cancer Surveillance in New Mexico" in March, as part of the Research Team’s Research Seminar series.
