2010

Fall 2010 Senior Class Gift

The College of Nursing's Fall 2010 senior class gift included 18 student commitments for a total of $1,835. The contributions will support the Senior Class Scholarship Endowment and the Nursing Chair Fund. Their dedication to future students and current faculty is admirable!

Summer 2010 Senior Class Gift

The Summer 2010 senior class has generously pledged $6,765 to the College of Nursing Skills Labs and the Senior Class Scholarship Endowment. There were 20 class members who participated and the college also applauds their passion about maintaining the skills labs and providing assistance to future students.

Spring 2010 Senior Class Gift

The Spring Graduating Class of 2010 has also embraced philanthropy. They have made the 16th Senior Class Gift with 22 pledges for a total commitment of $1,981 from the spring graduates. Their contributions will be supporting the Nursing Scholarship Fund. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of those nursing students who follow you!

2009

Fall 2009 Senior Class Gift

Congratulations to our fall 2009 graduates who were the 15th class to participate in the UNM College of Nursing’s Senior Class Gift program! There were 28 class members who pledged a total of $3,615 that will be divided between two essential funds. The first is the Student Lounge Fund for a new printer and printer toner for a year. The second is the Student Equipment Fund for new stethoscopes, scrubs and books. We are very proud of our graduates for their important commitment in the college’s Senior Class Gift tradition!

Summer 2009 Senior Class Gift

The summer 2009 graduating class had cohorts in Albuquerque and Taos. The Albuquerque class pledged $4,790 to support two funds, the Student Fund and the Book Fund. The Taos graduates pledged $1,975 to create scholarships for future Taos nursing students.

Spring 2009 Senior Class Gift

The spring 2009 graduating class has pledged an impressive $6,170. Their generosity will support a memorial scholarship fund and a student fund.

Fall 2008 Senior Class Gift

The Understanding the important need for new faculty, the fall 2008 class made pledges supporting the College of Nursing’s Chair Fund for a total of $3,795.

Summer 2008 Senior Class Gift

The Summer 2008 senior class has generously pledged $1,565 to the College of Nursing Chair Fund. Their gifts will help to recruit and retain qualified faculty.

Spring 2008 Senior Class Gift

CON’s Spring 2008 graduating class was split into three cohorts; each group decided to leave its own legacy and gave to different areas. The Albuquerque class pledged $1,935 to support the Faculty Practice Clinic. Valencia graduates pledged $891 to the College of Nursing Chair Fund. The Taos students pledged $4,050, creating scholarships for future Taos nursing students.

2007

Spring 2007 Senior Class Gift

The 2007 spring graduating class showed its support for the Nursing Skills Labs, the College Chair Fund, and the Faculty Practice Clinic. They have pledged to commit $3,555 to these worthwhile causes.

Fall 2007 Senior Class Gift

As the eighth cohort to participate in the Senior Class Gift program, the fall 2007 graduation seniors pledged $3,985 to the College of Nursing’s Skills Lab and the Faculty Practice Clinic.

Summer 2007 Senior Class Gift

The 2007 summer graduating class pledged $1,980 to assist the College of Nursing’s Faculty Practice Clinic. This is the only nurse-managed clinic in the metro area. Our graduates are continuing the tradition of helping future nursing students and the local community.

Accelerated Program 2007 Senior Class Gift

The College of Nursing’s 2007 accelerated students decided to assist the Faculty Practice Clinic with their senior class gift. They pledged $375 to help not only the college but the community.

Spring 2007 Senior Class Gift

The spring graduating class of 2007 showed their generosity in support of two different causes. The class pledged $2,745 to the Nursing Chair Fund and $535 to the Computer Lounge.

2006

Accelerated Program 2006 Senior Class Gift

The first Accelerated Program Senior Class Gift went to establishing a one time scholarship for a future Accelerated student. The graduating class pledged $2,050 to help a student.

Spring 2006 Senior Class Gift

One of the biggest class in the history of the College of Nursing, the Spring 2005 senior class decided to support two causes. The first being the Nursing Chair fund, it is a permanent endowment set up to hire a nursing chair for Nursing Research, Practice and Education. The second is to use for the Nurses Skills Lab. The class made pledges totaling $2,935.

Fall 2005 Senior Class Gift

The Fall 2005 Graduating Class made its senior class gift to support the College of Nursing Student Computer Lounge. The pledges totaling $1,000 will benefit future nursing students and their class work.

Spring 2005 Senior Class Gift

The College of Nursing Spring 2005 Senior Class decided to assist the College in purchasing a sign for the lobby of the Nursing/Pharmacy Building. With there efforts they were able to raise $1,790 in pledge.
