Jongwon Lee, PhD, RN, Associate Professor. Graduated in 2007. Jongwon’s program of research focuses on Asian American women’s reproductive health and prevention seeking behaviors such as cervical and breast cancer screening, contraception, unintended pregnancies and abortion, and postpartum depression. She is particularly interested in research aimed to reduce disparities in cervical cancer among Korean and Vietnamese American women living in NM and to develop culturally appropriate community-based interventions that meet the needs of these populations. Her research interest has also focused on the development and psychometric evaluations of instruments.
