Ingrid Hendrix is the Nursing Services Librarian at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center, where she is on the faculty at both the School of Medicine and the College of Nursing.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and her Masters in Information and Library Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  Ms. Hendrix is a distinguished member of the Medical Library Association’s Academy of Health Information Professionals.  She has been a medical librarian for over 20 years.  She has collaborated on multidisciplinary research and publications in the areas of information seeking skills of nurses in the ICU, functional and social benefits of service dogs, and clinical resource utilization of medical students.
